Abstract This paper proposes a data processing scheme for laser spot thermography (LST) applied nondestructive testing (NDT) of composite laminates. The LST involves recording multiple thermographic sequences, resulting in large amounts that have to be processed cumulatively evaluate the diagnostic information. demonstrates new based on parameterization and machine learning. approach allows overcome some major difficulties signal deliver valuable effectiveness proposed is demonstrated an experimental dataset acquired laminated sample with simulated delaminations. discusses theoretical aspects inference algorithms as well arrangements necessary collect input data.
